Sneaking in outfit photos in this summer weather has been very challenging. Not only are we faced with the blazing sun, which makes adjusting the camera settings quite difficult, but I also end up looking very dehydrated and beaten up from all the nasty sweating. TMI?

This is why I may have to settle for shaded areas such as this. Also, lightweight button-downs are a lifesaver for when you want to cover less without being overexposed. I layer them on top of tube tops or corsets. Save the skin for the beach, I say.

The sun sets at a much later time, too, so there really is no escape. By the time the sun sets, I've been drained from not only work but also battling the day-long heat.

This really makes me wish we were back in December--either that, or I'm on a plane back to Boracay... or any beach, for that matter. I would love to live near the beach, really. I would trade the city life if I could. But my life is here. Maybe for now, maybe forever. We'll see.

So, how's the weather at your end of the globe?
