A little over a week from now, it will be my birthday. I don't know if a celebration is in order--well, it usually is apparently--but I haven't gotten around to thinking about it. Let me just say that I was never the best at being the birthday celebrant. Not that I'm one of those people who are afraid to age, but I just have never thought ahead about my own birthday celebration. In any case, I'm proud to have started a little celebration on my blog already through the giveaway series I'm holding for the whole month of December. *pats self on the back* And if you haven't joined any of those yet, I have two giveaways running right now! Remember that I'm launching new giveaways at the end of each week, so more will be coming up. December's just beginning, gang!


Now, this little number was worn to an event which required me to be in black. To keep things interesting, I pushed back my usual bodycon skirt for a mixed media skirt--it's stretch fabric (I'm not very good with telling you about materials) and faux leather. Gotta love the circular cut-out thing going on at the front! It adds dimension to what would have been an all-black look. It might have been the leather which pointed me towards the direction of silver and crosses add-ons, too!


While I would have loved to take the easy way out and throw on one of my black dresses, I didn't feel like wearing a dress to work that day. Alas, another day-to-night outfit! I would warn you, though, that you should not be surprised if you see more transition looks as with the festive season in full swing, I'm sure to be jumping from work to event on nearly a daily basis. Double dosing on my coffee intake, then!

A few of our relatives from overseas are now here in Manila and that's definitely going to make for a fantastic December! Hope you are all having a great December so far, as well.
