I’M BACK! No, I didn’t forget about my blog—I would never! The weather was just so crazy that I decided to put blogging on hold to allow more relevant updates to pop up on everyone’s news feeds (relief/help lines and news updates). Also, if you follow me on Twitter, you’d know that I flew out last Wednesday.

For today, I’m giving you a sneak peek on the next outfit post I’ll be publishing next. I wore this a few weeks ago when we were only experiencing light rain. I’ll tell you more about this look in my next post!

As for the trip, I left the city life last yet again last Wednesday to be on the beach, only this time, for much longer. I was bound for Kalibo and was set for a 5-day trip in Caticlan (Boracay) that had been planned months ago. We are most definitely thankful that the weather was wonderful all throughout our trip. That vacation couldn’t have come sooner. We were all certainly in need of it.

I’m the type who enjoys out of town trips—the farther and longer the stay, the better. I wouldn’t even mind roughing it out and camping every once in a while. Despite what some would think especially if they knew me only through my fashion blog, I’m actually not that maarte ;) I can be such a guy sometimes, too. I guess it is to be expected since I grew up with guys.

I’ll blog about the trip some other time when I’ve properly broken it down into parts. Five days away from the Metro would be quite difficult to congest into one blog post, so please also check back for that!
