2013 Philippine Fashion Week: JAG ORIGINS
12:00 AMAttending the JAG ORIGINS show for the 2013 Philippine Fashion Week was truly inspirational not only because of the creations I saw down the runway, but also because Project Runway and Marie Claire's creative director Nina Garcia was there to inaugurate the event. Her story of how she began in the fashion industry is truly motivating, and I'm sure a lot of our local talents in the fashion industry are now even more encouraged to do well in their craft.
The JAG ORIGINS show launched its Holiday 2013 collection which featured ankle cut jeans for women and stretch denim for men.
JAG also invited three of the country's most promising designers to create a special collection with them.
Norman Noriega's collection was a balance between hard and soft. Flowy material in romantic silhouettes paired with denims and denim accents show the versatility of the designer and the brand.
Jeffrey Rogador's collection was more of a distinct street style. Playful and wearable.
Have you seen photos of their collections online? Which one is your favorite? :)

The annual gathering will be the discussion that inspires Filipino fashion thinking. It will be the spark."
