When I got back from Rockwell, I had 15 minutes to rest before I had to get ready to meet up with Ava because we were going to Robinsons Place Manila together for the Wrangler fashion show—my first event as a blogger! :)

The Wrangler Fall/Winter 2011 Campaign took inspiration from Seattle’s outdoor-meets-indoor and urban eclectic styling. Before the fashion show even started, the production set already screamed of grunge and the rough roads. There were chains, worn out tires, metal drums, and other scraps, and two jeeps that basically pulled the whole look and feel of the set together. Stalls were also located on the sides for those who might be interested in purchasing a piece from the collection (like Ava, na nabigo sa kanyang top dahil wala nang size small :( Maybe in other branches, twin! :D)

The first set was inspired by their creative and playful lifestyle, which seemed very western-boho-chic to me. It was an absolute feather party! I could hear Ava’s heart jump for joy, being the feather-lover she is. ;) Parang sumabog lang sina Anagon at Ava sa stage! Hahaha!

Loving the very attention-grabbing earrings and laid-back layering!

Surprise! Surprise! DANIEL MATSUNAGA! Look at that smile!

An edgier feel was injected into the second set, which screamed WILD CHILD. I saw different grunge styles for the girls, starting from the very classic grunge look—black long sleeves, acid washed jeans, boots, and worn out gloves, accessorized with an electric guitar to add effect. Next, there was also a more casual/chill grunge look—plaid polo on tank top with worn out denim shorts and tattered stockings. And then there was a more girly take, using a pleated skirt paired with a leather jacket and a scarf to top it off.

The guys also looked quite distinct from one another, yet still exuding the grunge vibe.

Then, there was also this denim romper that really caught my eye! If only I was confident enough to wear this out and pull it off, I totally would. It’s such a unique piece and the way it hugs the model’s body just makes me want it for myself! It’s sexy yet edgy!

The show closed with a topless (but of course! Hahaha!) Daniel Matsunaga together with fellow models in Wrangler shirts and scarves/necklaces (I really, really wanted to take a fringe necklace home!)

I know Wrangler is known for their denim line, but I was honestly surprised to see so much more this evening. What I like about their style is that they have pieces that when put together can look very effortless yet stylish! It’s absolute casual chic!

Right after, I had dinner with some blogger friends! Finally met Krissy after so many months of just tweeting, exchanging comments, and blog stalking! Also met Jonver for the first time! I’m so happy I finally got to be with everyone! :) I used to read their blogs with absolute envy because of how much they get to bond after events. And now, I finally experienced it for myself!! :) Everyone's so fun to be with!

I mentioned in my previous post that I changed my outfit for this event, so here's what I wore:

TOP VINTAGE/MOM'S | BANDAGE SKIRT ANTI-FASHION | BAG MANGO | SHOES MATTHEWS | BELT YRYS | ACCESSORIES SM ACCESSORIES AND ANAGON COLLECTION (CUSTOMIZED RING)
